Removable Prothesis

This is the type of prosthesis, which can be placed and removed easily by the patient. Removable prosthesis are applied in cases, where number of the failed teeth are too high and where fixed prosthesis cannot be applied.

Total (Full) Prosthesis

It is applied to persons, who lost all of the teeth in his/her mouth. It takes time to get used to removable prosthesis. In case, if you are going to use prosthesis for the first time, your dentist will explain you its difficulties. Do not forget that prosthesis user’s motivation is very important for use of prosthesis.

Partial (Sectioned) Prosthesis

This is the type of prosthesis, which has a metal body or which is made of acrylic and which is used to fill the emptied area occurred due to loss of teeth and which can be placed and removed easily by patient.Gripping capability is provided by retainers or crochets (hooks) settling on the teeth.

Prosthesis With Sensitive Gripper (Snap Fastener)

It is applied to partly toothless mouths. Metal parts, which are called as crochet and used to provide gripping capability of prosthesis, are located inside prosthesis, which is not visible. Compared to sectioned prosthesis, this type of prosthesis has amore esthetical appearance and its gripping capability and use by patient is more comfortable.
